Neil Young Tribute Adds Pete Yorn, J Mascis

Even more artists have been added to the all-star line-up of a Neil Young tribute concert to take place at Carnegie Hall. Pete Yorn, J Mascis, Antibalas, and Joe Purdy will play on February 10 to benefit music education for underprivileged youth. Others in the diverse roster include Patti Smith, Living Colour’s Vernon Reid, DeVotchKa, Shawn Colvin, Bettye LaVette, Bebel Gilberto, Aimee Mann, Keller Williams, The Roots, Larry Campbell, Cowboy Junkies, and Mason Jennings.

This is the seventh annual benefit concert presented by Michael Dorf. Proceeds from the show will be donated to non-profits The American Symphony Orchestra Music Notes, Church Street School of Music, Young Audiences, Music Unites All-Youth Choir, The Pinwheel Project, and FIKS (Fixing Instruments for Kids in Schools).
