I NEVER LEAVE HOME WITHOUT: cash and a good attitude.
I WROTE THIS SONG: because I had to. I needed a song to close our shows with. I was playing a lot bluegrass music at the time and decided to write an up tempo “barn burner.” The writing and imagery are very traditional. The addition of the fiddle really ties it all together for me.
