Bruce Springsteen FAQ

(Backbeat Books)
Rating: 4.5 stars

The Bruce Springsteen FAQ, subtitled All That’s Left To Know About The Boss, is a fun yet exhaustive compendium of information that will engage both the casual fan and the jukebox graduates. Flip to any page and you’re bound to find something to grab your attention. One section, for example – contains entries on “Bruce and Bob Marley” (Marley supported The Boss on The Wailers’ first U.S. tour) , “Boulder on His Shoulder” (a recount of a disastrous gig opening for Edgar Winter), and “Chicago” (the jazz rock hit makers who turned Springsteen off to being anyone’s opening act.) Covering everything from his birth in Long Branch to the release of his latest album, Wrecking Ball, it’s the book Bruce Springsteen fans were born to read.
