One of the 25 finalists of Martin Guitar‘s “The Pub Deal” Contest, Florida native Leland Grant is a songwriter with many talents. Besides previously sharing the stage with artists such as The Roots’ ?uestlove, 311, and Josh Kelley, Grant was a 2012 contestant on NBC’s The Voice as part of the musical duo The LiNE. We hear they do a mean cover of Tom Petty’s “American Girl.” We approve, but hope Grant keeps cranking out tunes like “Waiting on You.”
