If you missed Mumford & Sons’ unique “Gentlemen of the Road” Stopover shows last year — and most likely you did, given that there were only seven of them — fear not.
The popular Brit-folk band has announced a new slate of dates for 2013, in the US, UK and Canada. They’ll be joined by an eclectic roster of support acts, including Alabama Shakes, fun., Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Vampire Weekend, and Old Crow Medicine show.
Unfortunately, the US portion of the itinerary currently only includes Oklahoma, Florida, and Ohio – but there’s always room for surprises.

In a statement, Mumford & Sons said: “The Gentlemen of the Road Stopovers are all about live music. We get to put them on in towns not normally frequented by touring bands in busses or splitter vans. We deliberately look for towns that have something unique, or some vibe of which they are proud, explore them and enjoy what they have to offer.”
