Watch The Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band’s “Big Blue Chevy ’72” Video

Videos by American Songwriter

We love a good animated video, especially one that involves driving a truck up the side of the Empire State Building. Fortunately, The Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band feel the same way.

“I had a conversation with [wife and washboard player] Breezy recently and I said, ‘We need an animated music video,’ the frontman for the Indiana country blues outfit tells us.”The next day Terry Border of Bent Objects contacted us about wanting to make a video. The timing was miraculous. We were really excited, because his artwork is so interesting and funny. It is the first animated video we have ever had, and thanks to Terry’s unique sense of humor, we are very proud of the way it turned out.”

Catch them on the The Big Damn Blues Revolution Tour with Jimbo Mathus and Alvin Youngblood Hart next month.
