Shannon Whitworth’s “You Are In Love,” off of her third album High Tide, recounts the woes of unrequited love, yet somehow it manages to sound light, relaxing and catchy. The music video, premiering exclusively on American Songwriter, reflects the song’s straightforwardness with a simple black-and-white performance by Whitworth and her band.

“Making this video was fun and spontaneous,” Whitworth tells American Songwriter. “We used an old church in Western North Carolina, owned by the amazing sculptor George Peterson, that had been converted into a large indoor skate boarding ramp. It seems like kind of a throw-back video to me.”
