ARTIST: Dot and Logic

SONG: “Terraform”

HOMETOWN: Hopkinton, Massachusetts

CURRENT LOCATION: Brooklyn, New York

AMBITIONS: To eventually make one of the greatest records of all time.

TURN-OFFS: Unwillingness to argue- prioritizing comfort over growth.

TURN-ONS: Willingness to argue- prioritizing growth over comfort.

DREAM GIG: Either headlining the House of Blues Boston because I saw so many shows there growing up or opening for Radiohead anywhere…but we’d do that thing where we come out and play a song together at the end of their set, and that song would be “Climbing Up The Walls” and we’d all walk on at the last build and HAMMER away the huge part at the end as a double band.

FAVORITE LYRIC: “I am healthy, I am whole, but I have poor impulse control. And I wanna go home, but I am home.” -The Mountain Goats, “Riches and Wonders”

SONG I WISH I WROTE: “All My Friends” by LCD Soundsystem. Also many, many other songs.

5 PEOPLE I’D MOST LIKE TO HAVE DINNER WITH: My family and my girlfriend.

MY FAVORITE CONCERT EXPERIENCE: Seeing Radiohead on the In Rainbows tour was pretty much it for me as far as deciding to do this with my life.

I WROTE THIS SONG BECAUSE… I was frustrated with someone’s willingness to avoid conversation in order to make our lives more inhabitable. I have a really hard time not talking about stuff when there is stuff to be talked about. I don’t know if that person knew how much it affected me.
