Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter Steve Gunn has announced his upcoming full-length, Eyes On The Lines, the follow-up to his 2014 album Way Out Weather. The nine-track album is set for a June 3 release via Matador Records.

In advance of Eyes On The Lines, Gunn has released “Conditions Wild,” the album’s vibrant debut single directly inspired by Rebecca Solnit’s novel A Field Guide to Getting Lost. The accompanying video, directed by Brandon Herman, sees an adventurous Gunn arm-wrestling a bear, wandering through a forrest and ends with the songwriter sitting with Bigfoot by a campfire.

In addition to his solo work, Gunn has collaborated with Kurt Vile and Appalachian old-time band the Black Twig Pickers in recent years. He will kick off a tour in support of the album beginning in April.
