The story: The new album was born of Hamil’s struggle with mental illness. At age 24, the singer-songwriter was diagnosed with schizophrenia. The album’s May release date coincides with National Mental Health Awareness month.
Songwriter says: Weights pursues a desire for innocence. It questions our identity while on the journey to find it in this life. Each song ventures into the lost self to discover true love and purpose.
