Justin Bieber and Skrillex are facing a copyright lawsuit over their hit song “Sorry,” TMZ reports. Singer-songwriter Casey Deniel – who records under the moniker White Hinterland – claims the song too closely resembles her 2014 track “Ring the Bell.” The two songs bear striking similarities, particularly in the vocal melody that begins “Ring the Bell.”

Deniel has asked that Bieber stop performing the song entirely and give her financial compensation.
