Rufus Wainwright just announced “Wainwright Libre,” a four-day immersive musical and cultural experience in Havana, Cuba set for September 21 – 25.
The four-night, four-day excursion features sightseeing, dining and private performances from Wainwright himself, as well as public performances alongside a full orchestra, Cuban musician Carlos Varela and a number of other to-be-announced musical guests. Prominent Cuban figures like Roberto Caracasses will lead workshops during the day. Events will be held at Havana’s Melia Miramar Hotel.
