“‘Between The Devil’s Rain And A Dying Language’ is a song about accepting my place in the world,” Starr, who signed to Geffen in 1996 and is a vet of the first two Lilith Fair tours, tells American Songwriter. “It’s about questioning everything to get back to the purpose and the place that made sense once.”
