Bruce Springsteen Plays Six Songs Off Of Nebraska In Nebraska

Bruce Springsteen

Videos by American Songwriter

The Boss’s show in Omaha, Nebraska last night opened with not one, not two, but three songs off his classic Nebraska album. Starting with “Reason To Believe”, “Johnny 99”, and “Atlantic City”, Springsteen went on to play “State Trooper”, “Highway Patrol Man”, and “Open All Night” as well. By the end of the night, Bruce and the band played more songs off Nebraska than songs off his new release Wrecking Ball.

Bruce was receptive to his fans as always, playing requests that they held up on poster board signs and letting some come up on stage during “Dancing In The Dark”; he even performed “Santa Claus is Coming To Town” during the encore set after fan started throwing Santa hats on stage.
