On February 5, Mark Oliver Everett of Eels will release Wonderful, Glorious, his follow-up to his ambitious three-album trilogy (2009’s Hombre Lobo and 2010’s End Times and Tomorrow Morning.)

To help promote it, he’s dug up this piece of unaired footage from the 1998 Brit Awards, in which the members of the fictional heavy metal band try to steal his thunder.
