Songwriter Says: “We grew up in Iowa and draw inspiration from the sprawling prairielands of our home of Des Moines, and I credit our Midwestern roots for our dreamy folk sound. The music is grounded in the peace that comes from years in Iowa, surrounded by miles of fields and sky. It’s a humble sort of beauty which influences our sound in such an expansive way.” – Evelyn Taylor

“James Taylor, the Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Crosby Stills and Nash; the sounds of those groups feel like home to me. It’s without a doubt Evelyn and I draw a lot of inspiration from these groups our parents first introduced us to.” – Nicholas Frampton
