Dex Romweber, the man Jack White once dubbed “one of the best kept secrets of the rock and roll underground,” returns with a new solo album on September 9.

The album, which is titled Carrboro and named after Romweber’s adopted hometown, contains 13 tracks and includes covers of T Bone Burnett’s “I Don’t Know” and Charlie Chaplin’s “Smile.” Stream one of the album’s tracks, “Trouble Of The World,” below, and be sure to check out Romweber’s upcoming tour dates.
