Walker Lukens first made his mark in the music scene with the release of his record Devoted in 2013. Now, Lukens is back with a newly released single.

“Simple Man” is Lukens’ second single off his forthcoming EP Ain’t Got A Reason. The track is a solid, blues-laced indie track, produced by Spoon’s Jim Eno, whom Lukens met in a bar.

“I’ll say two things about this song. The kindest thing you can do for the person you love, especially if they deal with anxiety, is to be the part of their life that they don’t have to think twice about,” Lukens says. “The other thing I want to say about this song is that every word is true.”

Ain’t Got A Reason is out April 7 via Modern Outsider Records.
