Chris Stapleton, Arcade Fire and Modest Mouse will headline Forecastle Fest in 2018, it was announced this morning.
The festival, now approaching its 16th year, will take take place July 13-15 in Louisville. Tickets go on sale Friday, January 19 at 10 a.m. EST.
Also performing will be American Songwriter favorites Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, Houndmouth, The War On Drugs, Father John Misty, Margo Price, and Jenny Lewis.
Situated on the banks of the Ohio River in downtown Louisville, Forecastle is one of the better music festivals going these days. Last year’s event was oppressively hot, yet it still managed to top our festival experience in 2018, as it did for this Sturgill Simpson fan. (See full Forecastle 2017 coverage here)
