Watch: Old 97’s Debut New Song At SXSW

Videos by American Songwriter

The Old 97’s, who first played SXSW in the mid-90s, made the rounds at this year’s festival. On Thursday alone, we caught them at  the New West Records party, and then later in the early morning hours at Antone’s. Here they debut a new song, which will presumably be on the forthcoming Grand Theatre Vol. 2. They follow that with “Champaign, Illinois,” a song they “co-wrote” with Bob Dylan.
