Using Lennon's demo vocals, the Beatles added their own, weaving them together with instrumentation, with engineer Jeff Lynne's assistance.
Prince criticized the manipulation of Lennon's vocals, considering it "demonic" and emphasizing the importance of artistic control over technology.
Despite some reservations from George Martin, "Free As a Bird" and "Real Love" were praised for their production, marking a Beatles reunion.
