But no one can quite get it right like Oasis, with Liam’s bendy, brilliant voice and Noel’s surreal, dreamy, stream-of-consciousness lyrics. Nevertheless, the song remains a classic from one of the greatest musical decades. And on the tune, which hit No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100, Liam sings,

If you were to dissect Noel’s lyrics, it’s unclear what meaning you might find other than a pastiche of meanings, a mosaic of meanings. But there is something about the composition when it all comes together that just hits your heart perfectly. And on this number, Liam sings,

Perhaps the most rocking of the songs on this list, this song features Noel singing his own lyrics, providing a more punchy vocal sound than Liam’s surreal dreams. But the result is no less enjoyable. This song also feels a bit more like a short story than the others above. And on the soaring song, Noel belts out with confidence,
