Americansongwriter.com, a songwriting and music publication founded in 1984, has been owned and operated by Savage Ventures since 2019 when the Nashville based venture operator acquired the property. 

In January of 2021, Savage named Lisa Konicki, a 20 year music media executive, as the publication’s editor in chief.
