These two country stars’ wives make motherhood look pretty dang hot

Being a mother is hard work for anyone. It’s hard for moms who also have to work, it’s hard for moms who already have another little one or more in the home and it’s hard for anyone under the scrutiny of the public eye.

But mostly, it’s hard for anyone who wants to be good at it. And we imagine the hardest part for any mom, or any parent, who wants to be good at it is remembering to take care of yourself so you can take care of your family better.

That’s what Jason Aldean and wife Brittany, and Dee Jay Silver and wife Jenna are doing. The two couples are on an adults-only getaway, not only to refuel their minds and bodies to be better parents, but to also keep the magic in their marriages.

Wait, whoa. Can we just take a moment to talk about the refueling the bodies, part? Because, while Jason and Dee Jay both look as handsome as ever, they didn’t have to grow a baby. We aren’t altogether sure how Brittany and Jenna did it, but dang, they look amazing! You’d never know that either one of them had ever given birth, much less three months ago for Brittany and just over a year ago for Jenna.

Both of these beautiful, warm, intelligent and funny women, who are great friends, hit the beach in swimwear, and we’re pretty sure their fellas are bursting with pride.

Jenna and Brittany have both been open and honest on social media about their pregnancies and the aftermath, including Jenna’s issues with her thyroid that we previously reported. They’ve also spoken about what their regimes have included to get to their post-baby fitness goals, but they’ve also always put their respective sons, little Wake and Memphis, first.

All we can say is whatever they’re doing is working! They both have flat tummies, radiant complexions and big smiles.

And husbands who love them.

We have no doubt that these amazing moms are missing their little boys, but we applaud them for doing what they need to do to be the best parents they can be be. And who knows! After this trip, maybe little Wakey can get promoted to big brother!

We’ll give Jason and Brittany a reprieve … for a few more months anyway.
