We just got off the phone with Mary-Louise Parker. What a cool chick!

We talked to the Weeds actress about her starring role in Charlie Mars’ new video, “Listen to the Darkside,” as well as some of her favorite songwriters and her column for Esquire, in which she often dons the hat of music critic.

We’ll have the interview for you next week. After we got off the phone, we sent her publicist an e-mail, explaining how Charlie Mars’ voice on “Darkside” reminds us of our longtime heroes Aztec Two Step, the 70’s folk duo who are much like Simon and Garfunkel, only with better guitar solos.
