Cody Johnson Announces ‘Leather: Deluxe Edition’ Featuring 13 New Tracks Including “I’m Gonna Love You” with Carrie Underwood

Last November, Cody Johnson released Leather to acclaim from fans and critics alike. Later this year, he’ll be back with more than twice as much music when he delivers Leather: Deluxe Edition. The new iteration of the album features 13 new tracks including his recently released duet with Carrie Underwood, “I’m Gonna Love You.”

Johnson released Leather on November 3, 2023. The 12-track collection peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard Country Albums chart. It also reached No. 18 on the all-genre Billboard 200 albums chart. Additionally, the album produced two hit singles. “The Painter” topped the Country Airplay chart and “Dirt Cheap” peaked at No. 5 on the same survey.

Last Friday (September 27), Johnson released his long-awaited duet with Carrie Underwood, “I’m Gonna Love You” as the lead single from the forthcoming deluxe release. The track hasn’t hit charts yet. However, it has already garnered more than a million streams on Spotify alone after less than a week since its release.

Cody Johnson will release Leather: Deluxe Edition on November 1 via CoJo Music/Warner Music Nashville, nearly one year to the day after the album’s initial release. It will include all 12 original tracks as well as the 13 new songs listed below.
