ERNEST Knew “Losers” Was Perfect for Jelly Roll

Jelly Roll was pointing out that he doesn’t usually record outside songs. However, if someone brings him a song to collaborate on and he resonates with it, he’ll do it. He pointed out “Haunted,” his collaboration with Kane Brown as a good example of this. Then, he mentioned “Losers.”

“When we were in that room, it was like the only person who can hop on this with post is Jelly,” ERNEST said.

“What makes ERNEST special is being in a room, writing on a Post Malone album, and going, ‘Hey man, we can’t cut this without Jelly Roll. I can’t not hear Jelly Roll on this song. I heard his voice in my head. This is a Jelly Roll kind of song,” the “Save Me” singer said. “That’s awesome,” he added.

As the time for Post Malone to drop a new single draws near, Jelly Roll and ERNEST both hope the label will choose “Losers” to release. “Like, Post right now. I’m praying they pick ‘Losers’ for his next single, ” Jelly said. “We’re both praying he picks that,” ERNEST agreed.

“It’s like, we’re over here like, it’s showing that it should be ‘Losers’ if y’all are seeing what we’re seeing,” Jelly said. “That thing is streaming. It’s at like almost 100 million on Spotify. It’s rolling,” he added.

”Losers” is one of the most popular songs on Malone’s album. It had garnered 71,436,147 streams since the album’s release. It has gained more streams than any other song on the tracklist that wasn’t released as a single in 2024.
