A fan of football, family, country music, and America, Toby Keith became a top name in the music industry when recording songs like “How Do You Like Me Now?!” Encompassing the type of person he was, Keith cared little about what others thought of him. And when it came to the armed forces, the country singer supported their cause, even traveling overseas to put on concerts. While Keith passed away last year, his family continues to honor his legacy. As for his son, Stelen Covel, he recently shared the exciting news that his wife was expecting their first baby.
Getting married in November 2021, Stelen and his wife, Haley, spent the last few years enjoying their marriage. But wanting to extend their family, Haley posted a picture of herself holding a sonogram. She wrote, “Baby Covel coming this Summer.” Not only wrapping his arm around her, Stelen made sure his father was there by wearing a Keith shirt.

The couple received a mountain of love and support as fans filled the comment section. “Congratulations to you both. Toby would be on top of the world with happiness.” Another person added, “Congrats to you both & your families! Your Daddy would’ve just been over the moon & I’m sure that’s where he is & proud as can be!”
Toby Keith Was A Family Man Above All
While continuing to move forward after Keith passed away, the loss of their father has been rough. Honoring Keith, his daughter, Krystal Keith, shared a heartfelt post about her father. She admitted, “It feels like yesterday we said goodbye and yet it somehow has also been the longest year without him.”
Posting a collage of pictures on Instagram, Krystal offered fans a glimpse into the singer’s life outside of country music. She explained how looking over the photos showed just how much he cared about family. “It’s hard to find a candid picture where he doesn’t have one of our babies in his arms. He was their favorite, and they were his. Our littles miss their buddy big time but we all know we will see him again someday.”
With the entire Keith family taking it one day at a time, Krystal found peace in the sunsets. “Every sunset (and he LOOOOVED his sunsets) is a reminder that he wants us to live our best life and do good in the world. So that’s exactly is what we will do.”
