“I Could Not Fall Down by Myself”: Ella Langley Falls on Stage, Dragging Her Guitar Player Down With Her

While some singers take years before finding their way to the stage, Ella Langley wasted no time proving herself as the future of country music. Since signing with Sony Music Nashville and Columbia Records, Langley debuted at the Grand Ole Opry and even released her debut studio album Hungover. Climbing the ranks of country music, it seems the singer crossed another milestone recently when she accidentally stumbled and fell on stage. Not wanting the spotlight to just be on her, she also dragged her guitar player down with her. But shockingly, the guitarists barely seemed to notice.

Performing at a show in Texas, Langley found herself on the ground when she hit a crack in the stage. While falling to the ground, she grabbed her guitar player, who also fell. Not shying away from the accident, Langley decided to discuss the moment on social media. She said, “Last night, I fell down for the first time in my career, and I also brought my guitar player down with me because I could not fall down by myself. So, if you have a video of it, please let me see it. I wanna see it.”

Ella Langley Goes From Stumbling To ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’

With Langley asking fans for their help, it was only a matter of time before the video surfaced. Watching the singer tumble on the stage, fans noticed that the guitar player fell to the ground but never missed a beat in the song. In the video, he even appeared to be laughing alongside Langley. She wrote, “Damn, didn’t mean to do you dirty like that, Ben Flanders.” 

Bringing in thousands of views, fans loved the moment, writing, “This just confirms you’re the real deal. Glad you’re okay.” Another comment added, “You fell with Grace. And then you said come down here bud to your guitar player. Oops.”

Getting back up, Langley found herself on another stage when she stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. But unlike before, she stayed on her feet as she performed a duet of “You Look Like You Love Me” with Riley Green.
