Jelly Roll Shares Tracklist, Reveals Guest Artists
Jelly Roll didn’t just share the tracklist. He also revealed the guest artists that will appear on Beautifully Broken. Whitsitt Chapel featured guest appearances by some country stars. Lainey Wilson joined him for the hit song “Save Me.” Brantley Gilbert appeared on “Behind Bars” alongside Jelly and Struggle Jennings. He also went outside the genre, including Yelawolf on “Unlive.”
There are no country artists on Beautifully Broken. He tapped indie singer/songwriter Ilsey for the track “When the Drugs Don’t Work” and rapper Wiz Khalifa for “Higher Than Heaven.” Additionally, a track with his new pal Machine Gun Kelly appears on the album. However, it isn’t “Lonely Road.” They collaborated on a song called “Time of Day” for the new album.
Last Friday (October 4), Jelly Roll tweeted that he was “About to drop the most music I’ve ever dropped at once.” And he’s right. While not all of his releases are available on streaming platforms, only his 2013 mixtape Whiskey, Weed, & Women (originally titled Whiskey, Weed, & Waffle House) matches Beautifully Broken’s 22-song tracklist.
