It’s been a hell of a few months for Chris Stapleton. After sweeping the CMA Awards and earning a legion of new fans thanks to a stellar performance with Justin Timberlake, he took home two Grammy Awards this past weekend for his album Traveller and its title track.
Now, Stapleton’s wife Morgane, who is an integral part of his touring and studio band, has her turn in the spotlight, with a cover of the classic “You Are My Sunshine,” featuring Chris on BGVs, from fellow Grammy winner Dave Cobb’s upcoming album Southern Family.
In other Stapleton news, Chris proved that all it takes is an amazing voice to make horrible words like “moist” sound great, improvising some “new songs” for Jimmy Kimmel Live! “Ointment” has never sounded so good.
