The duo of Preston Brust and Chris Lucas will kick off the annual festival in Nashville on Thursday (June 8) with the pickleball event Country on Court: Pickleball at CMA Fest in partnership with DINK, a company that offers pickleball recovery drinks. The duo will host LOCASH & Friends Celebrity Pickleball Tournament at Fan Fair X inside Music City Center beginning at 2 p.m. CT.

Dustin Lynch, Blanco Brown, Frank Ray, Dee Jay Silver, Chuck Wicks, Boy Named Banjo, Drew Baldridge, and newly named American Idol runner-up Megan Danielle and third-place finalist Colin Sough are among the players in the tournament. They’ll be divided into eight teams and play multiple rounds, with one team being pronounced the winner.

Special guests will also make an appearance. The “I Love This Life” singers took to Instagram to ask fans who they’d like to see play in the tournament and can submit their suggestions in the comment section. The tournament will conclude with a donation to the CMA Foundation, which supports music education programs around the country.

“The CMA Foundation began investing in music education in 2006 and was birthed from the passion of our artists and industry professionals who first fell in love with music within the four walls of a classroom,” the organization says in its mission statement. “Thanks to their teachers who believed in them, they were able to go after their dreams.”

Proceeds from the CMA Fest benefit the Foundation. The festival takes place June 8-11 in downtown Nashville. Tickets for CMA Fest are available HERE.

LOCASH and Lynch will also appear on the Bussin’ With The Boys podcast hosted by NFL stars Taylor Lewan and Will Compton on June 8 before the tournament. The duo is currently serving as an opening act on Kane Brown’s Drunk or Dreaming Tour until June 11 when their tenure wraps up in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
