Luke Bryan is imploring people to grab a beer this summer and tune into his latest music video for the hit song “But I Got A Beer In My Hand.” The five-time Entertainer of the Year took to socials to share his latest venture, writing, “But I Got A Beer In My Hand” Official Music Video is out now! The video, shot in Springfield, Tennessee, and directed by Jim Wright, starts out with Bryan getting a flat tire and catching a ride to a bar for a gig. Just in time, Bryan walks up to the stage to join his band for a rocking performance. He then makes his way through the patrons stopping to join them in some fun—playing poker, smoking a cigar and even petting a chicken. The video concludes with Bryan…you guessed it…getting a beer in his hand!
“But I Got A Beer In My Hand,” written by Chase McGill, Matt Dragstrem, and Geoff Warburton, is the follow-up to Bryan’s most recent No. 1 hit, “Country On.” He debuted the new tune on the season finale of American Idol in May.

Bryan recently announced some special guests added to the lineup for his FARM TOUR 2023, kicking off on September 14 in Shelbyville, Kentucky. This year’s Farm Tour will feature Kameron Marlowe, Chayce Beckham, the Peach Pickers, and DJ Rock. The tour will wrap on September 23 in Eyota, Minnesota. Bryan began the Farm Tour in 2009. Since then, he has granted 78 college scholarships to students who come from farming families.
In addition, it was revealed that Bryan return as judge for a seventh season of American Idol alongside fellow judges Katy Perry and Lionel Richie. Auditions for season 22 are set to kick off on Wednesday (August 2) with the return of “Idol Across America,” a live virtual nationwide search for contestants, which discovered season 21 winner Iam Tongi, before the show returns to ABC in spring 2024.
