Written by Benjy Davis, Anna Vaus, and Ryan Beaver, “Heart They Didn’t Break” embodies lyrics that go out to the best friends that come to pick up the pieces of your broken heart–even though they weren’t the ones who did the breaking.

She ain’t the one that slammed the door and tore off in a truck / She ain’t the one that made me feel like I ain’t good enough / But someone’s gotta help clean up the mess you went and made / So, here’s to friends thеre to fix a heart they didn’t brеak, the pair sing in the chorus.

The release continues Maddie & Tae’s symbiotic harmonies and endlessly catchy melodies. The song’s release is accompanied by a visual of the pair shooting the cover art in the rolling hills of a farm. Check it out, below.
