Post Malone, Jelly Roll Join the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum’s Latest Exhibit

Although not new to the music industry, both Post Malone and Jelly Roll have only recently made their mark in Nashville. The last two years have seen each artist pivot from their previous hip-hop work and gain a massive country music falling. Now, both are part of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum’s latest exhibit, American Currents: State of the Music.

Jelly Roll, Post Malone and More on Display at Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum

The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum celebrated the latest iteration of American Currents: State of the Music on Tuesday (March 4.) Debuting in 2024, the exhibit celebrates the state of the genre and highlights the artists pushing it forward.

The latest installment, which runs through January 2026, spotlights Post Malone and Jelly Roll, among many others. Country music lovers can see outfits and other memorabilia from the rapper-turned-country stars’ performances over the past year.

In 2024, Jelly Roll gave us Beautifully Broken, the wildly-anticipated follow-up to his country music debut Whitsitt Chapel. With singles like “Liar and “I Am Not Okay,” Beautifully Broken gave Jelly his first-ever No. 1 album when it debuted atop the Billboard 200.

Meanwhile, 2024 saw Post Malone finally cross over into country music after years of hints. F-1 Trillion hit the airwaves in August, also at the top of the Billboard 200. Posty enlisted country music greats like Tim McGraw, Hank Williams Jr., and Blake Shelton for his Nashville debut.

Additionally, American Currents: State of the Music also features artists like Kane Brown, Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Combs, Cody Johnson, Morgan Wallen, Lainey Wilson, Taylor Swift, and more.

Examining Country Music Collabs

Country music newcomers Post Malone and Jelly Roll teamed up to celebrate “the outcasts and sinners” and the “ain’t-never-been-no-winners” on “Losers,” off Posty’s F-1 Trillion. American Currents: State of the Music also highlights other famous country music collabs from the last year with a section of the exhibit titled “Unbroken Circle.”

Spotlighting artists with similar musical perspectives, “Unbroken Circle” features Wyatt Ellis and Sierra Hull; Ella Langley and Jamey Johnson; Zach Top and Keith Whitley; and Kaitlin Butts and Miranda Lambert.
