According to documents obtained by Rolling Stone, the rapper known for smash singles “Kiss Me Thru The Phone,” “Crank That (Soulja Boy),” and “Pretty Boy Swag” was accused of kidnapping Myers at gunpoint and “threatening” to kill her.

The Jury ordered the musician to pay Myers exactly $235,900 for the frightening incident. The court has confirmed that $1,800 will fulfill mental health expenses, as the remaining will pay for the “physical and mental pain and suffering” Myers experienced.

The victim filed a police report against the rapper in 2019, which explained the occurrence in detail. Allegedly, the singer confronted Myers at a party in Malibu, California, “yelling profanities.” She declared that the artist “kicked her, stomped on her stomach, and bashed her head with a large gun.” Rolling Stone reported that Soulja Boy’s assistant was also involved in the case and was a suspect as well.

“Way held the gun to Ms. Myers’ head and told her she was going to die that night and she would not make it home,” read the original report. “Way next instructed his assistant to take her in the garage and tie her up with duct tape.”

Myers was also forced to shower publicly in front of the performer and his assistant. The complaint stated that the assistant “wrapped an extension cord” around her while bathing. Following the assault, Soulja Boy denied his actions and requested for the complaint to be removed from his file.

The artist has yet to break his silence since the verdict was released.

Women have pressed charges against Soulja Boy before. A female by the name of Jane Doe filed a report in 2021, claiming that the Atlanta-based musician attacked her while pregnant. Shortly after the incident, the woman suffered a miscarriage.
