The Band CAMINO is prepping new music and is giving fans a taste with the single, “Told You So.”
The Nashville-based band shows off their pop-rock flavor on this breakup anthem wherein the leading man has a pointed message for his ex, as conveyed in the chorus, I let you know / If you let go / Find someone else to hold you / Just walk away / Don’t make me say / The only words I owe you / I told you so, they chant over a drum-heavy, earworm melody.

“‘Told You So’ is about releasing the anger and frustration of wishing someone had just listened,” band members Jeffery Jordan, Spencer Stewart and Garrison Burgess state in a press release. “They’re listening now, but it’s too late.”
The press release also says that the band is working on more new music.
The Band CAMINO has also announced nearly 20 European tour dates, visiting cities such as Paris, London, Milan, Berlin, Amsterdam and more. They’ll also perform at Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in their home state of Tennessee in Manchester on June 17. Visit their website for a full list of dates.
The band was formed by Jordan and Stewart in 2015 after they met as students at the University of Memphis. Their debut album, Tryhard, was released in 2019, followed by their most recent album, The Band CAMINO, in 2021.
“Can you stand there with your instrument and be compelling? That’s always going to be the most vulnerable and authentic human experience and connection,” Jordan shared with American Songwriter about the process creating the band’s self-titled album. “I feel like there aren’t many true bands with real collaboration. We’re not just one dude in front. It isn’t easy, but The Band CAMINO is a fair representation of all the music we listen to and our collective experiences.”
Added Stewart: “So much of what we do is about creating moments.”
Tickets for the European tour go on sale Friday (Feb. 24) at 10 a.m. local time.
