Mastering a musical instrument can be hard, especially if you don’t have the right teacher.
Well, you won’t find a more qualified instructor than five-string fiddler Casey Driessen, who’s performed alongside Steve Earle, Tim O’Brien, Darrell Scott, Zac Brown Band, and Abigail Washburn.
Now, Driessen wants to share his insights with everyone. Over a series of instructional videos, Driessen will demonstrate and dissect “The Chop,” a percussive bowing style that’s all the rage in the bluegrass world, and beyond.
