The Voice Season 27 Coaches
John Legend
John Legend will be back after a short break for season 27. After season 25, he took some time off to focus on music, but the big red chair called him back. Before that, he had a consecutive 7-season stretch from 16 to 22. He took a two-season break, then returned for seasons 24 and 25. In all that time, he’s only been a winning coach on The Voice once. He found himself a champion in his first season, when Maelyn Jarmon captured viewer attention.
Michael Bublé
While Michael Bublé is making his coaching debut on season 26 of The Voice, he’ll be returning for season 27 as well. He’s joining fellow first-timer Snoop Dogg this season, and it will be interesting to see if either of them can snag their first coaching win. Bublé will stick around for another season, though, so if he doesn’t manage to find a champion, he’ll have another go at it. There’s no doubt he can bring charisma to the coaching team, and it will be fun to see how he interacts with his fellow coaches.
Kelsea Ballerini
Kelsea Ballerini will make her coaching debut on season 27, bringing a much-needed feminine perspective to The Voice‘s boys club. While she started out with more of a country style in her music, she’s branched out more into pop. With her genre experimentation, she’ll have a lot to share with the hopeful contestants on the show. It will also be interesting to see if she can hold her own among the boys, who will all have at least one season under their belts. Fans should keep their eyes on Kelsea Ballerini as a possibly winning coach next season, as she seems to have the determination to find a champion.
Adam Levine
Adam Levine is making a triumphant return to The Voice after leaving in 2019. He was on the show for sixteen total seasons, and his banter with fellow long-time coach Blake Shelton was a fan favorite element. However, while Shelton will likely never return to the show, Levine is coming back with the itch to win. He’s been the winning coach three times—season 1 with Javier Colon, season 5 with Tessanne Chin, and season 9 with Jordan Smith.
