Zach Bryan “Got Himself Into Some Trouble Again” on New Must-Hear Song

Zach Bryan is fully in his breakup era. Just one day after publicly confirming his split from girlfriend Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia, the Oklahoman teased a wistful balled called “Rockaway” on social media. On Monday (Oct. 28), Bryan shared a snippet of another unreleased song, this one bleakly titled “All Good Things Past.” And clearly, the ACM Award winner is going through all the (e)motions that come with a breakup.

Zach Bryan Shares Snippet Performance of New Song

Taking to social media Monday (Oct. 28), Zach Bryan previewed an unreleased song seemingly called “All Good Things Past.” The bare-bones video sees the “Heading South” hitmaker surrounded by members of his band, including a trumpeter and saxophonist.

Wearing a backwards camo baseball hat, Bryan, 28, sits behind the mic and strums his guitar as he sings. All good things past / And your boy got himself into some trouble again / But all my friends are bound to share in this denial.

Those lyrics got the social media rumor mill churning, with many believing the “Pink Skies” singer is alluding to his recent breakup with Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia. Bryan confirmed their split in an Oct. 21 post to his Instagram stories.

“I Don’t Want to Be a Country Musician”

Despite receiving nominations for multiple country music awards, Zach Bryan does not want to be considered a country musician. The “Something in the Orange” singer elaborated further in a recent conversation with Bruce Springsteen published in Rolling Stone.

“I want to be a songwriter, and you’re quintessentially a songwriter,” Bryan said. “No one calls Bruce Springsteen — hate to use your name in front of you — but no one calls Bruce Springsteen a freaking rock musician, which you are one, but you’re also an indie musician, you’re also a country musician. You’re all these things encapsulated in one man. And that’s what songwriting is.”

Bryan is currently working on the follow-up to his fifth studio album, 2024’s The Great American Bar Scene. The U.S. Navy veteran previously revealed that he had already written 14 songs for his next project. We’ll have to wait and see if “All Good Things Past” is one of them.
