Capricorns are known for their moodiness and pessimism, as well as their ambitiousness and creativity. If you were born between December 22 and January 19, you may just love these five songs about (or perfect for) Capricorn signs! Even if you’re not a Cap yourself, these are some pretty diverse and jam-worthy tunes.

1. “Papi Bones” by FKA Twigs feat. Shygirl
Alternative artist FKA Twigs (a Capricorn herself) quite famously released a whole mixtape dedicated to Capricorns in 2022. The mixtape as a whole is essential listening for any Capricorn who wants to dance but also get real deep in their feelings. “Papi Bones” is the certified rump-shaker of the album; it’ll be stuck in your head for days, and you won’t be mad about it.
2. “Capricorn” by Motörhead
This 1979 metal song is a bit more direct about its connection to Capricorns. Lemmy Kilmister was a Capricorn himself, and the song seems to be his way of putting his own life into perspective in line with the astrological sign.
3. “No Scrubs” by TLC
Capricorns don’t take any bullcrap. In fact, they tend to prefer romantic relationships with people who match their own ambitious energy. The catchy 1999 girl group jam “No Scrubs” is a timeless reminder to never settle for someone who is broke, boring, and can’t match your aspirations. Capricorns need someone who can help them build a dream team; not a scrub holding them back.
4. “Summertime Sadness” by Lana Del Rey
Unfortunately, all zodiac signs have some negative traits. Caps have a tendency to be unsatisfied with their lives, and in turn, they become very prone to depression. “Summertime Sadness” by Lana Del Rey is the pop singer’s moodiest song to date. We bet a few down-in-the-dumps Capricorns out there will vibe with it, if they haven’t already added it to their go-to “I’m sad” playlist.

5. “Heroes” by David Bowie
David Bowie is another Capricorn on this list, and we think the 1977 song “Heroes” is one of the most Capricorn-y songs of his career. It’s a brooding, longing sort of song about wanting to be with the one you love despite the turmoil surrounding the relationship. Capricorns can be hard to get through, but once they’re in love, they’re as dedicated and loyal as it gets.
