Ariana Grande’s Reaction to the Ozzy Osbourne Tribute at the MTV VMAs Takes the Internet by Storm

Although promoted as Ozzy Osbourne’s last performance alongside Black Sabbath, the Back to the Beginning concert welcomed numerous stars like Yungblud and Steven Tyler to celebrate his career. For Yungblud, he produced a mesmerizing cover of “Changes.” Sadly, with Ozzy passing away not long after, the MTV VMAs hoped to honor his legacy with a powerful tribute. And once again, the producers turned to none other than Yungblud, Tyler, Joe Perry, and Nuno Bettencourt. With pictures of Ozzy’s life playing behind them, the performers offered a tribute that left even Ariana Grande speechless.

For those who happened to miss the VMAs last night, MTV thankfully uploaded several performances to their YouTube channel. And when it came to the Ozzy tribute, it already brought in over 354,000 views in less than a day. Covering hit songs like “Crazy Train” and “Changes”, Yungblud even displayed the necklace he received from Ozzy himself just before his passing. Although fans loved every second of the tribute, nothing compared to watching Grande’s reaction to the love, talent, and star power displayed on the stage.

Fans Call Ozzy Osbourne Tribute “Real Music”

Already commanding the stage, Yungblud joined forces with Tyler and Perry when it came to “Mama, I’m Coming Home.” With so much talent on the stage, fans in the audience soaked in every moment. But for Grande, she seemed almost stunned by the tribute. Thankfully, cameras caught her reaction as Perry, Bettencourt, Yungblud, and Tyler honored the Prince of Darkness.

Just her reaction alone received over 754,000 views. And for fans, they completely understood her feelings at the moment. “This is what you call real music. She’s amazed.” One comment added, “Ariana getting emotional says it all. Yungblud & Aerosmith truly honored Ozzy in the most powerful way.”

Even with Tyler struggling with vocal cord issues recently, the rocker refused to hold back, pouring every ounce of grit into a tribute Ozzy would’ve been proud of.
