Brantley Gilbert Pauses Concert To Help His Wife Deliver Their Baby in Tour Bus

Having spent nearly 20 years in the music industry, Brantley Gilbert knows the stress that can come with touring. Even with a fantastic crew and years of experience, nothing can prepare a performer for the unexpected. And on Friday night, Gilbert learned just how unpredictable life can be. While entertaining fans in Mississippi, the singer quickly rushed off the stage, leaving them wondering what exactly happened. Although unknown to them at the time, the country singer ran to be by his wife as she welcomed their baby boy.

While traveling the country for his 2024 Off the Rails Tour, Gilbert and his wife, Amber, anxiously awaited the birth of their third child. Knowing that the baby could come at any moment, it was somewhat of a shock it would happen during one of his concerts. Shortly after taking the stage to perform his set, the country star was pulled away as he ran from the concert venue. Thankfully, his wife wasn’t too far away as she waited on their tour bus.  

Standing beside his wife, Gilbert celebrated the birth of his son by sharing a brief moment with his wife and making sure to call family members. But knowing that a sea of fans waited on him, the singer quickly returned to the stage to finish his set.

Brantley Gilbert Shares Exciting News On Instagram

Besides sharing a video of his concert on Instagram, Gilbert wrote how exciting the birth was. “So last night might have been the craziest night of my life. Watching such an amazing woman do such an amazing thing is something I’ll never forget. Thank you to our road family for rallying around us, Brittany Thornton for helping us bring this little dude into the world, Tupelo, Mississippi for showing us mad love and support, and most of all… Amber Gilbert, for letting me love you and showing me EXACTLY how incredibly strong a woman can be. I love you.”

While gaining nearly 30,000 likes, fans celebrated the birth of Gilbert’s son, writing, “I bet coming back out to the crowd & sharing that news with them was a different kind of surreal. Congrats, mama and daddy! One heck of a birth story to share down the road.” One fan, who was at the concert, added, “I was there and honestly you deserve that ovation. I’m proud to say I look up to you it was the greatest night of my life.”
