With Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood two of the biggest names in country music, it seemed only fitting that they would own homes in Tennessee. For many country singers, owning a home in the music-rich state appeared to be a milestone. And while loving Nashville and its history with country music, Brooks and Yearwood might be looking to not only sell their property but also leave the United States.

Appearing on Inside Studio G, Brooks opened up about his future in Nashville when he heard an Irish fan knew his interest in purchasing a home. While not announcing his departure from the United States, the country singer explained, “Actually, the Queen is pushing hard for that house over there. I think this last time over there, she just fell head over heels in love with the country.”
For those who might not remember, back in 2022, Brooks and Yearwood traveled to Dublin, Ireland for a string of shows. Brooks ended up selling out his shows in the area and gained a great deal of praise from locals. He added, “We played two weekends, so we went on that stint across the country, and everyone was so sweet to her.”
Garth Brooks Faces Legal Troubles
Although continuing to explore a career in country music, Brooks found himself in some legal trouble when his former makeup artist decided to sue him for sexual assault and rape. With fans shocked over the news, Brooks fired back at the individual with a countersuit that read, “Defendant’s allegations are not true. Defendant’s publication of these false allegations was not privileged but was made with malice, ill will, and for the improper purpose of extorting an unwarranted payment from Plaintiff.”
While the accusations will play out in front of a judge, Brooks and Yearwood went ahead and sold their homes in Tennessee. Again, not making any decision just yet, the possibility of the couple spending some time overseas is gaining traction amid the rumors surrounding the country star. According to reports, the home sold for a little over $3 million. But given their success in country music, the power couple is sure to find a cozy home whenever they decide to move.
