Jane’s Addition will release its first new single in more than 10 years, “Imminent Redemption,” on Wednesday, July 24, the band announced on its official website and social media pages. The track is available to pre-save and pre-order now.
As revealed in a graphic promoting “Imminent Redemption,” the song features the classic Jane’s Addiction lineup of frontman Perry Farrell, guitarist Dave Navarro, drummer Stephen Perkins, and bassist Eric Avery. Avery rejoined the band in 2022 after previously exiting the group in 2010.

Jane’s Addiction posted a preview snippet of “Imminent Redemption” on its social media sites. The 14-second segment begins with a blistering bass riff from Avery, before the full band kicks in and Farrell sings, “Let’s make some good trouble / Let’s call in the drummer (or trauma).”
Jane’s Addiction gave “Imminent Redemption” its live debut at a May 23 concert in London. According to Setlist.fm, the group played the song a total of 10 times during its recent European tour.

About Jane’s Addiction’s Other Recent New Songs
The previous new song released by Jane’s Addiction was “Another Soulmate,” which was issued as a standalone single in 2013. The tune arrived in advance of the band’s then-latest tour.
The veteran alternative rockers debuted another new song called “True Love” live in March 2023, and have played it at several shows since then, but have yet to release a studio version of that tune.
Jane’s Addiction’s Upcoming 2024 Tour Plans
Jane’s Addiction will launch a 2024 North American tour with British New Wave act Love & Rockets on August 9 in Las Vegas. The trek, which features 23 dates, runs through a September 26 concert in Indianapolis.
Jane’s Addiction also will perform during the second day of the 2024 Evolution Festival, which is scheduled for September 28 and 29 in St. Louis.
Other artists on the festival’s September 29 bill include The Killers, Killer Mike, Todd Rundgren, Elle King, and Son Volt.
