A departure from the ’70s soft rock, funk, and disco turns of The Album, “Strong Enough” is another pop gem cut by the Jonas Brothers. Been a hell of a week, but we made it, yeah, we made it / Hear the bar shuttin’ down, but we stayin’, yeah, we stayin’ / Only got so long ’til the morning comes / And life is too short to be wasted sing Jonas Brothers in between alternating verses and harmonizing with Zimmerman. By the refrain, all join up on So light me up / Twist me something good / Make it strong enough, last long enough.

“I’ve been a fan of the Jonas Brothers for as long as I can remember,” said Zimmerman of the collaboration in a statement. “I literally grew up with them. It’s been incredible to get to know Joe, Nick, and Kevin, and we’ve already shared some memories I’ll never forget. The fact that they would ask me to be on a song still blows my mind. I hope y’all like it as much as I do.’”

The collaboration with Zimmerman is the first in a series of singles that may be released as the Jonas continue their worldwide, The Tour, which is running through June of 2024.

Jonas Brothers kicked off their global tour, dubbed The Tour, in August of 2023 with two sold-out shows at Yankee Stadium in Bronx, New York. Throughout the tour, the Jonas are playing a setlist pulled from their previous five albums, along with The Album and other favorites.

Throughout the course of The Tour, Jonas will perform at 90 stadiums and arenas along with performing in several countries for the first time, including Northern Ireland, Poland, New Zealand, Australia, Norway, and other cities within Europe.

“I’m so incredibly grateful that we have music, and we have written,” Joe told American Songwriter. “We have these amazing tools. For us as songwriters, we didn’t have to go to university. Obviously, school is very important, and I encourage everyone who can go to college to go, but if it doesn’t work out for some reason, it does feel so good to be able to know that you’ll be accepted, and the songs you’ve written when you were a teenager still carry over as an adult when you’re in your 30s.”

He added, “They impact lives in positive ways and emotional ways. I think this tour has shown us that more than previous tours.”
