Quinn aims to reveal his most authentic self with this record. For example, the singer/songwriter divulges on his mental health journey for the first time. “I did the kind of growing that most people don’t do in a lifetime,” Quinn said in a statement. “I felt very inspired in my mental health journey and had to make music about it. Writing these songs felt like therapy. That’s what art is for me. And if you do it right and share it with the world, hopefully people listening feel less alone.”

To punctuate the release of the record, Quinn has shared “Blessed.” In the R&B-inspired track, he sings: God knows, where the road goes / So when we so low / We ain’t solo / All the troubles / They keep me humble.

“This song is about the importance of recognizing blessings as they’re happening,” Quinn added. “We tend to not really see them when we already have them, but the truth is we have so many blessings at any given time that we have to notice them and celebrate how they are shaping our lives.”

Quinn started his career as an actor. In 2021, he made the leap into music, sharing his debut single “Wildfire.”

“For me, since that time, I figured out that the wildfire is the piece of life that’s in us all—even when we’re in our darkest, most bleak times,” Quinn told American Songwriter upon the release of “Wildfire.” “It drives our good decision-making, it drives our life’s purpose or path. So that wildfire is something bigger than you.”
