Dreaming” is actually a danceable, house-influenced update of Sting’s 1993 solo hit “Fields of Gold,” with production from Marshmello.

A video clip posted on P!nk’s Instagram shows footage of a photo shoot featuring Sting, Marshmello, and her, as well as a brief interview segment in which they talk about the collaboration.

“Marshmello was the prime leader of this,” Sting explains in the clip, with Marshmello adding, “This is kind of the most maybe unexpected collaboration I think any of us ever thought or maybe the world might think.”

P!nk then puts in her two cents, saying, “It’s beautifully random.”

The post is accompanied by a note from P!nk that reads, “Different people from different places coming together to make music. Music makes my heart happy.”

“Dreaming” will be one of nine bonus tracks featured on the expanded Tour Deluxe Edition of Trustfall, along with P!nk’s 2022 single “Irrelevant,” a new track titled “All Out of Fight,” and six live performances. Among the live tunes is a cover of the Prince-penned Sinead O’Connor hit “Nothing Compares 2 U” featuring P!nk duetting with Brandi Carlile. P!nk originally released Trustfall this past February, and the album peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200.

As previously reported, Sting will be joining forces with Billy Joel next year for a pair of co-headlining U.S. stadium concerts—on February 24 concert at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, and April 13 at Petco Park in San Diego.

The former Police frontman will also be playing a pair of recently announced two-night engagements that will feature him backed by a symphony, on February 14-15 in San Francisco and March 8-9 in Philadelphia. In addition, he will be performing at a Mardi Gras event in New Orleans on February 10.
