“No One Disrespects Our Boy!”: Fans Demand Backstory of Morgan Wallen Concert Video

Morgan Wallen dropped a bombshell on the country music scene with 2023’s One Thing at a Time. Clocking in with a whopping 36 tracks, the album has spent a record-breaking 19 weeks atop the Billboard 200. The “I Had Some Help” hitmaker is shattering even more records with his highly acclaimed One Night at a Time Tour. Recently, it appears Wallen got fed up with one concertgoer in Dublin, Ireland.

Fans React to Morgan Wallen Flipping the Bird

Morgan Wallen recently wrapped up the European leg of his One Night at a Time tour with his first-ever stint in the Emerald Isle. The “Lies Lies Lies” singer performed Sept. 7-8 at 3Arena in the Irish capital city.

A video clip circulating on TikTok shows Wallen casually flipping the bird to a member of the crowd while performing “Everything I Love” during his Sunday (Sept. 8) show. The 14-time Billboard Music Award winner never misses a note or acknowledges the gesture.

Social media users speculated on what prompted the interaction. “I need the backstory! No one disrespects our boy!” one fan wrote on TikTok.

Another added, “Love the multitasking! Didn’t skip a beat!”

One user wrote that the gesture happened after an audience member tossed an object onstage, nearly hitting Wallen in the eye. “People need to stop throwing things at him!” commented the original poster, @findingmorgan_wallen.

If this is the case, it wasn’t the first time. One video from August 2023 shows Wallen responding with the same gesture after a concertgoer apparently threw a nicotine pouch onstage.

In July 2024, a fan at Wallen’s show in Denver, Colorado interrupted the country star’s performance of “Cowgirls” by chucking a phone onto the stage. That time, Wallen simply chucked it back.

Wallen Leads CMA Award Nominations

The Country Music Association recently announced nominations for their 58th annual awards show, set for Nov. 20 at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. And Morgan Wallen is leading the way with seven nods.

For the highly-coveted Entertainer of the Year prize, Wallen is up against some stiff competition in Luke Combs, Jelly Roll, Chris Stapleton, and Lainey Wilson. The “Wasted On You” singer also faces Combs, Stapleton, and Jelly Roll in the Male Vocalist of the Year category.

Additionally, his Post Malone collab “I Had Some Help” earned recognition in the single, song, musical event, and music video categories. The Eric Church duet “Man Made a Bar” is also nominated for Musical Event of the Year.
