Oasis has a long history of teasing and then denying reunion rumors since the brothers disbanded in 2009. Now, it seems music history has been made—the Gallagher brothers put their differences aside and got the band back together.
At 8 a.m. BST, Oasis overhauled their social media with new photos of Noel and Liam and announced that the band is reuniting and heading out on tour next year. The announcement post includes a video of the band’s iconic performances, as well as dates for the upcoming live shows.
“This is it, this is happening,” the post states. Tickets for the limited run of shows in 2025 go on sale on August 31 at 8 a.m. IST and 9 a.m. BST, which is 3 a.m. EST for fans in the U.S. The tour stops fall on the following dates:
- July 4-5 — Cardiff, Principality Stadium
- July 11-12 — Manchester, Heaton Park
- July 19-20 — Manchester, Heaton Park
- July 25-26 — London, Wembley Stadium
- August 2-3 — London, Wembley Stadium
- August 8-9 — Edinburgh, Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium
- August 16-17 — Dublin, Croke Park
There is also speculation, based on the language used on the tour website, that this is only the domestic leg of their 2025 tour. It’s possible that international dates will be added, so keep an eye on Oasis’ social media and website.

Noel and Liam Gallagher Make History by Bringing Oasis Back Together
Fans were left stunned after the post dropped. Many left comments in disbelief, as there seemed to always be a sense that hell would freeze over before Oasis got back together. However, if the official post isn’t enough to convince you that it’s real, Guinness World Records left a comment, quoting Brooklyn-99 by writing, “Coolcoolcoolcoolcoolcoolcoolcool nodoubtnodoubt.”
Another fan on Twitter previously expressed their joy by writing, in all caps, “THEY AREN’T LOOKING BACK IN ANGER ANYMORE,” in reference to the 1996 song.
While no other members of Oasis are rumored to be joining the brothers, it’s still a monumental moment for long-time fans. Allegedly, a run of concerts could be a huge windfall for the Gallaghers as well. According to Jonathan Shalit, chairman of the talent agency InterTalent, there are rumors that Noel and Liam could earn around $66 million each. That’s a net total of nearly $528 million.
While a source who spoke to The Sun claimed Oasis is getting back together “for the fans,” the money doesn’t seem so bad either. However, as the source claimed, “They aren’t getting any younger and the demand is huge. They decided it was now or never.”
